Mendonça autoriza transferência de Vorcaro para superintendência da PF
A transferência ocorre em meio à expectativa do início das tratativas para assinatura de um acordo de delação premiada de Vorcaro com os investigadores.
Na semana passada, após o Supremo formar maioria de votos para manter sua prisão, Vorcaro decidiu mudar de advogado.
A banca do advogado Pierpaolo Bottini, crítico de delações, deixou o processo e foi substituída por José Luis Oliveira, um dos criminalistas mais conhecidos do país.
A mudança sinalizou que Vorcaro está disposto a negociar um acordo de delação premiada com a Polícia Federal (PF) ou com a Procuradoria-Geral da República (PGR).
Caso Master
O Banco Central decretou a liquidação extrajudicial do Banco Master, de Daniel Vorcaro, em 18 de novembro de 2025. O motivo principal foi o colapso financeiro da instituição, que enfrentava uma crise de liquidez após oferecer rendimentos agressivos para atrair investidores.
As investigações revelaram um esquema de fraudes bilionárias, estimado em cerca de R$ 17 bilhões, que incluía a criação de carteiras de crédito falsas e tentativas de vender esses ativos fictícios ao Banco de Brasília (BRB) para mascarar o rombo contábil.
Em consequência das irregularidades, Daniel Vorcaro foi preso pela Polícia Federal no mesmo dia da liquidação, durante a Operação Compliance Zero. Embora tenha sido solto posteriormente para responder em liberdade sob medidas cautelares, foi preso novamente no começo do mês de março.
As investigações também resultaram no afastamento de funcionários do Banco Central e na liquidação de outras instituições ligadas ao esquema, como a Reag Investimentos e o Banco Pleno.
