Alagamento atinge ruas e causa transtornos em Marechal Floriano
Ruas ficaram alagadas após chuvas intensas atingirem a cidade de Marechal Floriano, na Região Serrana do Espírito Santo, na tarde desta quinta-feira (19). Vídeos registrados por moradores (veja acima) mostram que a água cobriu rodas de carros e atingiu casas e comércios em diversos pontos do município.
Em outra imagem, é possível ver uma equipe do Corpo de Bombeiros atuando em uma área alagada no bairro Santa Rita. A equipe explicou que foi ao local para resgatar duas idosas e uma jovem com deficiência que estavam ilhadas. Em seguida, os militares também ajudaram a atravessar cerca de trinta pessoas, incluindo crianças que retornavam da escola.
A Defesa Civil Municipal informou que segue atendendo à população e que também ocorreram alagamentos nas áreas rurais de Araguaia e Santa Maria — onde houve a queda de uma barreira. Os danos e a quantidade de pessoas desalojadas ainda serão contabilizados.
Nas redes sociais, o prefeito Lidiney Gobbi destacou que os moradores devem ter cautela, deixar áreas de risco e seguir as orientações das autoridades. A Prefeitura disponibilizou abrigos em escolas e quadras, com equipes de várias secretarias de plantão para dar suporte aos afetados. A previsão é que as chuvas persistam no município.
O coordenador da Defesa Civil de Marechal Floriano informou que uma chuva intensa de cerca de 100 mm entre duas a três horas provocou alagamentos bruscos no Centro, especialmente na região do Córrego Batatal, atingindo ruas e bairros próximos. Cerca de 30 famílias ficaram desalojadas, e o número total de afetados ainda será levantado.
Nos distritos de Santa Maria e Araguaia, o volume pode ter chegado a 200 mm em três horas. A água dessas regiões deve chegar nas próximas horas ao Centro da cidade pelo Rio Jucu Braço Sul, que já está alto e pode transbordar, aumentando o risco de novos alagamentos.
