O material foi reutilizado para sustentar a narrativa de que o relator do caso Master estaria atuando para barrar quebras de sigilo.
"André Mendonça não quer a quebra do sigilo do Banco Master, enquanto Moraes defende a abertura completa dos sigilos", publicou a página "Na mira do repórter".
O perfil Fofoquei reproduziu a mesma mensagem, conforme confirmou O Antagonista.
Segundo o Metrópoles, ao menos nove perfis ligados a militantes digitais replicaram o conteúdo, com pequenas variações, em um curto intervalo de tempo.
O vídeo, na realidade, refere-se ao julgamento envolvendo o Google.
Na ocasião, discutiam-se os limites da quebra de sigilo telemático de pessoas ainda não identificadas no curso das investigações. Mendonça defendia restrições, ao afirmar ser contrário à exposição da "intimidade" de terceiros.
