Irã afirma que central nuclear de Natanz foi atingida pelos EUA
Durante os conflitos entre Israel e Irã em julho do ano passado, a central, que faz enriquecimento de urânio já havia sido atacada pelos EUA. Caso o ataque seja confirmado pelos americanos, será o primeiro a uma central nuclear desde o início da guerra no Oriente Médio.
A mídia iraniana, através do jornal "Haaretz" afirmou que os EUA usaram bombas de perfuração no ataque. O governo norte-americano ainda não se pronunciou sobre a ofensiva.
A Agência Internacional de Energia Atômica (IAEA) disse ter sido informada sobre o ataque e afirmou que ainda não há aumento do nível de radiação na central nuclear. Já a agência de notícias estatal iraniana Tasnim afirmou que moradores da região onde fica a usina não estão em risco por radiação.
