Mulher morre atropelada em calçada após motorista perder controle de carro em Vila Velha

Uma mulher de 41 anos morreu na tarde deste domingo (22), após ser atropelada no bairro Coqueiral de Itaparica, em Vila Velha. Segundo a Polícia Militar, ela estava na calçada com uma criança de 9 anos e uma adolescente de 15, quando foi atingida por um carro.
Segundo a ocorrência registrada pela polícia, a motorista do veículo seguia pela Rua Três e, ao chegar ao cruzamento com a Rua Professor Josafat Joaquim da Costa, colidiu com uma motocicleta conduzida por um homem. Após o impacto, ela perdeu o controle da direção, subiu na calçada e atingiu a pedestre, que morreu no local.
A condutora do veículo foi submetida ao teste do bafômetro e, segundo a polícia, o resultado foi negativo para ingestão de álcool. Em seguida, ela foi levada para a Delegacia Regional de Vila Velha.
O motociclista, por sua vez, não realizou o teste do etilômetro, pois estava sendo atendido por uma equipe do Samu dentro de uma ambulância. A moto foi apreendida e levada por guincho, já que estava com o licenciamento atrasado desde 2024.
Até o início da noite deste domingo, não havia informações sobre a relação da vítima com a criança e a adolescente que estavam com ela no momento do acidente. A Polícia Militar informou que, quando chegou ao local da ocorrência, elas já não estavam lá. Também não há confirmação de que a mulher fosse moradora da região.
A Polícia Civil (PCES) afirmou, por nota, que a perícia foi acionada e que o corpo da vítima foi encaminhado ao Instituto Médico-Legal (IML), em Vitória, para necropsia.
Por fim, a PCES ressaltou que o caso será investigado pela Polícia Civil, que aguarda a finalização da ocorrência e a oitiva dos envolvidos para definir as responsabilidades.
