Um acidente de trabalho abalou os moradores do Conjunto Manoa, na Zona Norte de Manaus, na manhã deste domingo (22). O pintor Lucas Pereira da Silva morreu após ser eletrocutado enquanto prestava serviços no terceiro andar de um prédio localizado na Rua 18, onde funciona um restaurante.
Segundo testemunhas, Lucas realizava a pintura da fachada quando se desequilibrou. Ao tentar se segurar, o profissional acabou atingindo a fiação de alta tensão.
A descarga elétrica, estimada em 13 mil volts, foi imediata. Testemunhas afirmam que o impacto da eletrocussão fez com que o corpo do trabalhador ficasse preso à rede elétrica antes de cair.
Pessoas que passavam pelo local e funcionários do estabelecimento tentaram reanimar a vítima desesperadamente até a chegada das equipes de emergência. No entanto, o choque causou queimaduras críticas na região abdominal e o óbito foi constatado ainda no local.
O corpo foi encaminhado ao Instituto Médico Legal (IML).
