O presidente da Ucrânia, Volodymyr Zelensky, disse nesta segunda-feira (23) que possui provas de que a Rússia está fornecendo informações de inteligência ao Irã que estão sendo usadas pelo regime islâmico na guerra em curso contra os Estados Unidos e Israel no Oriente Médio. A declaração foi feita após uma reunião de Zelensky com o chefe da inteligência militar ucraniana.
De acordo com Zelensky, os serviços de inteligência da Ucrânia obtiveram evidências que indicam que Moscou continua colaborando com Teerã, inclusive por meio do compartilhamento de dados técnicos e informações obtidas por sistemas eletrônicos.
"A Rússia está utilizando suas próprias capacidades de inteligência de sinais e de inteligência eletrônica, além de parte dos dados obtidos por meio de cooperação com parceiros no Oriente Médio", afirmou o presidente em publicação na rede social X.
Segundo o governo ucraniano, as informações foram apresentadas pelo chefe da inteligência militar, Oleh Ivashchenko, durante reunião com Zelensky, na qual foram discutidos relatórios sobre a cooperação entre Rússia e Irã. Conforme o presidente, os dados serão compartilhados com aliados ocidentais para avaliação.
Nos últimos anos, Rússia e Irã ampliaram a cooperação militar, especialmente após o início da guerra na Ucrânia, quando Teerã passou a fornecer drones e outros equipamentos usados por forças russas no campo de batalha.
