A boa notícia é que as investigações estão avançando com a identificação de novos setores, que vivem de perto a penetração de organizações criminosas com esquemas cada vez mais sofisticados. A má notícia é que a polarização política em ano eleitoral pode atrapalhar.
As descobertas dos investigadores vão muito além dos setores de combustíveis, padarias, fintechs e outras instituições que atuam no mercado financeiro, que já são conhecidos.
Fatos novos são esperados para breve, após a conclusão do relatório financeiro da investigação com base na movimentação bancária do grupo e conversões dos dados telemáticos, como mensagens, histórico de navegação, emails armazenados e registros de localização, da instituição de pagamento BK Bank, que fazia parte do esquema.
No caso das redes de combustíveis ligadas aos empresários Roberto Augusto Leme da Silva e Mohamad Hussein Mourad, conhecidos como Beto Louco e Primo, se sabe que já há mais de mil postos de combustíveis envolvidos.
