O Banco de Brasília (BRB) divulgou na noite desta quarta-feira (1) a proposta da administração para a assembleia geral extraordinária (AGE) convocada para o próximo dia 22. Assim como na assembleia anterior, que estava prevista para 18 de março e foi cancelada na véspera , o banco do Distrito Federal mantém a previsão de um aumento de capital de R$ 8,8 bilhões, mas com alguns pequenos ajustes.
Na primeira AGE, a proposta era fazer uma subscrição privada de, no mínimo, 100 milhões de ações e, no máximo, 1,675 bilhão de papéis. Com um preço de R$ 5,29 por ação, o aumento de capital poderia ir de R$ 529 milhões a R$ 8,861 bilhões. Agora, com a emissão de 100 milhões a 1,645 bilhão de ações e um preço de R$ 5,36 por papel, a operação pode variar de R$ 536 milhões a R$ 8,817 bilhões.

Novamente, o governo do DF, que é o acionista controlador do BRB, não se compromete a subscrever a parte que lhe caberia para não ser diluído . Agora comandado por Celina Leão (PP), a administração tem dado continuidade às tratativas para tentar resolver a crise patrimonial do banco.
O governo do DF deve pedir ajuda ao governo federal, para que os bancos estatais comprem carteiras do BRB; vai destinar imóveis para o fundo imobiliário que deve ser usado para capitalizar o banco; e segue nas negociações com o Fundo Garantidor de Créditos (FGC) para tentar um empréstimo de R$ 4 bilhões.
