As forças armadas iranianas ameaçaram com mais ataques após o pronunciamento do presidente dos Estados Unidos, Donald Trump. Em um comunicado, nesta quinta-feira (2/4), o Irã disse que a guerra vai continuar enquanto os EUA e Israel não enfrentarem "humilhação, desgraça, arrependimento duradouro e rendição final".
Na quarta-feira (1°/4), Trump disse que a guerra está próximo do fim e que todos os "objetivos militares americanos" foram alcançados.
"Após os golpes poderosos e inimagináveis que vocês já sofreram, esperem ações ainda mais esmagadoras, extensas e destrutivas de nossa parte", diz o comunicado do Irã divulgado pela mídia estatal.

Em pronunciamento, Trump disse que o conflito deve acabar em duas ou três semanas, mas não apresentou uma data. "Esta noite, tenho o prazer de dizer que esses objetivos estratégicos fundamentais estão perto da conclusão… Nessas últimas quatro semanas, nossas forças armadas conquistaram vitórias rápidas, decisivas e esmagadoras no campo de batalha – vitórias como poucas pessoas já viram antes", destacou.
Trump também voltou a reiterar sua promessa de bombardear o Irã e mandá-lo "de volta à Idade da Pedra", nas próximas semanas.
"Vamos atingi-los com extrema força nas próximas duas ou três semanas. Vamos fazê-los regredir à Idade da Pedra, de onde eles pertencem", enfatizou Trump. O país do Oriente Médio tem a terceira maior reserva de petróleo do mundo e uma das forças militares mais poderosas da região. Os iranianos também têm uma infraestrutura nuclear avançada, o que é o grande alvo do conflito com os Estados Unidos.
