O presidente dos Estados Unidos, Donald Trump, voltou a ameaçar o Irã em uma publicação na rede social Truth Social neste sábado (4). O republicano disse que Teerã precisa reabrir o Estreito de Ormuz ou fazer um acordo com Washington até segunda-feira.
"Lembram-se de quando dei ao Irã dez dias para FAZER UM ACORDO ou ABRIR O ESTREITO DE ORMUZ?", disse o republicano. "O tempo está se esgotando – 48 horas antes que o inferno se abata sobre eles. Glória a DEUS!", acrescentou.
A publicação de Trump ocorre em meio a uma escalada na guerra com o Irã. Em outra postagem na rede social Truth Social na sexta-feira, o republicano apontou que Washington poderia reabrir o Estreito de Ormuz a força se tiver mais tempo.
"Com um pouco mais de tempo, podemos facilmente ABRIR O ESTREITO DE ORMUZ, EXTRAIR O PETRÓLEO E FAZER UMA FORTUNA. SERIA UMA 'JORRA' PARA O MUNDO???", disse Trump na rede social.
O comentário do republicano pareceu refletir observações que ele fez em particular nesta semana, nas quais expressou o desejo de continuar a guerra e tentar se apoderar do petróleo iraniano, mas disse ser "lamentável" que os americanos não parecem ter apetite para a empreitada.
