Auto da Paixão de Cristo nos Arcos da Lapa chega à 48ª edição
A apresentação é promovida pela Arquidiocese de São Sebastião do Rio de Janeiro em parceria com a Prefeitura do Rio de Janeiro.
Ao ar livre, o espetáculo gratuito reúne fé, arte e tradição e costuma atrair milhares de pessoas.
A encenação percorre momentos marcantes da trajetória de Jesus Cristo, como o nascimento, o batismo, o Sermão da Montanha, a Última Ceia, a Via-Sacra, a crucificação e a Ressurreição, combinando teatro, música e dança.

Com texto e direção de Luis Fernando Bruno, a montagem conta com cerca de 50 artistas, entre atores, cantores e bailarinos.
Segundo a Empresa de Turismo do Rio de Janeiro (Riotur), a trilha sonora foi especialmente composta para o espetáculo e mescla músicas originais com temas tradicionais da cultura religiosa.
Nesta edição, a produção terá a participação dos atores Caio Blat e Vanessa Gerbelli nos papéis de Jesus Cristo e da Virgem Maria, respectivamente.
Mais cedo, às 17h, haverá a procissão do Senhor Morto na Catedral Metropolitana de São Sebastião, na Avenida Chile, 245, no centro da cidade.
