Um bebê recém-nascido foi encontrado dentro de uma caixa de papelão, em via pública, no município de Barra de Guabiraba, no Agreste pernambucano, na última sexta-feira (3). De acordo com nota da Polícia Civil, a criança havia sido abandonada no local.
O caso foi registrado pela Delegacia de Caruaru, que iniciou as investigações para identificar os responsáveis pelo abandono. Segundo as autoridades, o bebê foi localizado por populares, que acionaram o socorro.
Junto à criança, foi encontrado um bilhete com informações como o nome do recém-nascido e a data de nascimento, além de uma mensagem: "Estou deixando ele aqui porque não tenho condições de criar. Já tenho dois filhos bebês e cuido sozinha, sem ajuda do pai. Ele não foi planejado, só fiz uma consulta pré-natal. Quero mandar para adoção, mas tive medo e acabei deixando ele aqui. Cuidem bem dele, por favor. Eu sinto muito".
Em nota enviada ao Diario, a Polícia Civil de Pernambuco informou que a ocorrência foi classificada como abandono de incapaz e disse que, até o momento, não há detalhes divulgados sobre o estado de saúde do bebê, nem confirmação sobre eventual encaminhamento para uma unidade de saúde.
