Dois tubarões-lixas foram avistados bem próximos da areia na praia de Cacimba do Padre, em Fernando de Noronha. O registro em vídeo foi feito por um turista que passava pela área. De acordo com ele, os animais estavam se alimentando no momento da gravação.
Segundo especialistas, isso acontece porque nesses locais existem cardumes e algas que servem de alimento para os tubarões, então eles vão até lá para comer e depois retornam ao fundo do mar.
Essa não é a primeira vez que tubarões são encontrados tão próximos da superfície. Em março deste ano, um tubarão-limão de 3 metros encalhou nesta mesma praia, chamando a atenção de quem estava ao redor. O guia turístico e instrutor de mergulho Wallison Souza explicou que, nesses casos, o procedimento adequado é não se aproximar do animal e não tentar ajudar, mas que a espécie não costuma atacar humanos.
Avistar tubarões em Fernando de Noronha não é incomum, mas pode assustar quem ainda não visitou a ilha. "Ninguém estava com muito medo, porque é normal ver esses animais pelas praias aqui", disse Wallison.
