Kátia Abreu agradeceu o convite e contou que a decisão teve apoio direto do Palácio do Planalto.
"Agradecer ao presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, que também reforça esse convite para que eu me filie ao PT do Tocantins. Estaremos juntos nessa luta pela democracia, pela reeleição do presidente Lula, para que todos nós continuemos lutando por dias melhores, pela igualdade das pessoas e por mais justiça social", declarou a ex-senadora.
