Estados Unidos continuam buscas por piloto desaparecido no Irã
Segundo a CNN americana, as forças ainda procuram um membro da tripulação de um Caça F-15E Strike Eagle. Os EUA, inclusive, já perderam ao menos sete aeronaves tripuladas durante a guerra.
As equipes americanas foram mobilizadas logo após a queda para tentar resgatar os militares que estavam a bordo.
Duas aeronaves foram abatidas. Em uma, dois pilotos estavam a bordo e se ejetaram antes da queda. Apenas um deles, no entanto, havia sido encontrado e resgatado por forças dos EUA. Outro, que estava sozinho a bordo da segunda aeronave, também foi resgatado.
Não está imediatamente claro em que parte do Irã o avião caiu, conforme informou a CNN dos EUA.
Do lado iraniano, a versão é de que o avião foi atingido por sistemas de defesa aérea ligados à Guarda Revolucionária.
O Irã chegou a afirmar também que um dos pilotos morreu perto de uma usina nuclear.
Porém, a agência de notícias estatal iraniana Tasnim afirmou que as buscas por tripulantes desaparecidos "até o momento não tiveram sucesso".
Neste sábado, a mídia estatal iraniana negou que o militar americano desaparecido tenha sido capturado ou detido pela Guarda Revolucionária Islâmica (IRGC).
Irã promete recompensa por captura
A televisão estatal iraniana afirmou que moradores seriam recompensados caso encontrem integrantes da tripulação americana e os entreguem vivos às autoridades.
