As Polícias Civil e Militar de São Paulo estão investigando a morte de uma mulher que foi assassinada na madrugada de sexta-feira 3, por um agente do Estado, após uma intervenção policial na zona leste da capital paulista. Segundo informações da Secretaria de Segurança Pública de São Paulo, a vítima chegou a ser socorrida ao Hospital Tiradentes, mas não resistiu aos ferimentos.
A secretaria informou que os policiais envolvidos no caso foram afastados do serviço operacional até a conclusão das investigações. As imagens das câmeras corporais serão analisadas e encaminhadas às autoridades responsáveis.
Na noite de sábado 4, moradores da Cidade Tiradentes, onde o caso ocorreu, fizeram um protesto pela morte. Durante o ato, os moradores montaram barricadas e colocaram fogo em pneus, interditando ruas do bairro.
