Uma operação da Polícia Militar (PMPE) para coibir o tráfico de drogas terminou em confronto e prisões no último sábado, 4, na Praia de Porto de Galinhas, em Ipojuca. Três homens, com idades entre 19 e 28 anos, foram detidos em flagrante sob suspeita de comercializar entorpecentes na orla.

A ação teve início após denúncias de venda de drogas na região. Ao chegarem ao local, os policiais avistaram quatro suspeitos que queriam fugir. Durante a perseguição, três pessoas resistiram à abordagem.

De acordo com nota da PMPE, houve luta corporal e um policial sofreu escoriações e uma torção no membro inferior após ser empurrado por um dos indivíduos.

A ocorrência ganhou contornos mais graves com a interferência de populares. De acordo com o comando da corporação, banhistas e transeuntes passaram a lançar objetos contra o efetivo, tentando impedir a condução de suspeitos e chegar a tentar subtrair as armas dos policiais.

Para restabelecer a ordem e garantir a segurança da equipe, os militares utilizaram agentes químicos de dispersão.

"Foi necessário o uso proporcional da força para dispersar a multidão, sem registro de feridos", informou a Polícia Militar.

Com os suspeitos, a Polícia Civil (PCPE) apreendeu 45 porções de substância análoga à maconha. O trio foi autuado por tráfico de drogas e encaminhado para audiência de custódia, onde permanecerá à disposição da Justiça. O quarto envolvido conseguiu fugir e não foi identificado até o fechamento desta edição.
