Segundo a administração do terminal portuário, as estruturas estão na fase final de montagem e devem ser liberadas ainda em abril.
Tamanho da ampliação do Porto de São Francisco do Sul
Ao todo, estão sendo implantadas três novas estruturas, que somam cerca de 15 mil metros quadrados, e são destinadas ao armazenamento, conforme o Porto. Cada galpão tem em torno de 5 mil metros quadrados, equivalente a 60% de um campo de futebol, que geralmente mede 7.140 metros quadrados.
"Com os três galpões aumentará significativamente a capacidade de estocagem do Porto, permitindo o armazenamento de um volume muito maior de cargas com mais organização, segurança e eficiência logística, além de dar maior suporte às operações portuárias", afirma a direção.
