Segundo o auto de infração obtido pelo portal g1, a multinacional tem até 30 dias para cumprir uma série de exigências técnicas. Entre elas estão a retirada completa dos resíduos e a comprovação da destinação adequada do material recolhido, além da apresentação de relatórios técnicos sobre o caso.
Apesar do despejo irregular, o Departamento de Água e Esgoto informou que não houve comprometimento da qualidade da água. Ainda assim, a Cetesb alertou que o material poderia tornar a água imprópria para uso e causar danos à fauna, à flora e ao bem-estar da população.
Como o caso veio à tona
Um morador da região denunciou a irregularidade ao encontrar uma substância escura, semelhante à graxa, em trechos do córrego. A água de uma queda formada por um afluente também apresentou coloração amarelada, o que chamou a atenção para possível contaminação.

A prefeitura recebeu a denúncia e realizou vistoria com a Cetesb, que confirmou a presença dos resíduos e deu origem ao auto de infração.
Exigências à empresa
Além da multa, a Goodyear deverá comprovar a remoção dos resíduos no córrego e em seus afluentes, apresentar relatório técnico explicando a origem do descarte e executar a recuperação ambiental da área afetada.
A empresa também terá de corrigir falhas no sistema de tratamento de efluentes e informar medidas de monitoramento e manutenção para evitar novos episódios.
