Em entrevista coletiva durante a cerimônia de posse do desembargador Maurício Kertzman como novo presidente do Tribunal Regional Eleitoral da Bahia (TRE-BA) nesta quinta-feira, 9, o gestor rechaçou qualquer interesse no posto.

"Nunca recebi o convite. Eu fui sondado por diversos interlocutores se havia essa possibilidade e diante do compromisso com a cidade, vocês se lembram disso, eu já declarei que meu desejo era exercer meu segundo mandato [como prefeito] e concluir com muito trabalho para ter um desempenho ainda melhor do que o primeiro", afirmou Bruno.

Bruno Reis também foi questionado sobre quem o pré-candidato ao Governo da Bahia, ACM Neto (União Brasil) vai apoiar para presidente. Para o prefeito, ainda não é o momento de declarar apoio.

"Vamos aguardar as convenções de julho e agosto, as candidaturas que vão se confirmar. Nós já lançamos o nome de um candidato aqui, que foi do governador Caiado, mas vamos aguardar e avaliar o cenário político até lá, porque essa é uma decisão não precisa ser tomada agora e na hora certa", concluiu.
