O edifício "Celga Cruz", distribuído em três pavimentos, tem área total construída de 715,60 m² e fica em uma das áreas mais valorizadas da Capital.
O armarinho Celga foi fundado há 47 anos pelo empresário Paulo Celga, que morreu em 4 de fevereiro de 2018, aos 63 anos de idade. A mulher dele, Márcia Celga, que também administrava a loja, morreu aos 67 anos, em 31 de dezembro de 2023, véspera de Ano-novo.

A coluna conversou na tarde desta quinta-feira (12) com Valdete Barbosa, atual proprietária da loja. Ela falou que o armarinho vai continuar funcionando, independentemente do resultado do leilão.
Segundo ela, o seu comércio poderá continuar no mesmo local, dependendo de negociações com o futuro proprietário, ou mudar-se para outro ponto comercial. "O importante é que a loja, que é tradicional na cidade, vai continuar", afirmou. Ela não quis informar quantos funcionários trabalham na empresa atualmente.
