Sindicato que representa a categoria reclama de "déficit crônico" de professores e sobrecarga de trabalho
Trabalhadores da rede municipal de Educação de Belo Horizonte prometem entrar em greve a partir de 27 de abril. O anúncio foi feito nesta quinta-feira (16) pelo sindicato da categoria (Sind-Rede/BH), após assembleia geral na Praça da Estação, no Centro. Uma paralisação também foi realizada hoje.
Conforme o sindicato, a greve se deve à campanha salarial 2026. O Sind-Rede também reclama de "déficit crônico" de professores, sobrecarga de trabalho e "improvisos" no funcionamento das instituições de ensino.
"A decisão é uma resposta direta ao cenário de crise, um verdadeiro 'Apagão na Educação', sob a gestão do prefeito Álvaro Damião", informou o Sind-Rede.
O que diz a Prefeitura?
Em nota, a Prefeitura de Belo Horizonte (PBH) disse que respeita o direito à livre manifestação dos servidores. Segundo a administração municipal, diálogos com a categoria têm ocorrido desde o ano passado, quando foi firmado um acordo. Dentre as medidas estabelecidas, está a recomposição salarial pela inflação em 2026.
De acordo com a PBH, na última terça-feira, (14) houve um encontro com o sindicato e "78 itens" de uma pauta apresentada foram discutidos. A prefeitura listou medidas implementadas para a valorização dos profissionais:
Instituição de data-base para reajuste salarial;
Criação de duas novas progressões por escolaridade, com ganho de até 10,25% na carreira;
Concessão de ajuda de custo para alimentação no valor de R$ 412,50 mensais para professores com jornada diária de 4,5 horas;
Aumento superior a 58% no vale-refeição para jornadas de 40 horas ou dobra, ficando em R$ 60 por dia;
Reajuste superior a 30% para bibliotecários plenos e de 7,6% para assistentes administrativos educacionais;
Criação de benefício cultural para aposentados;
Garantia de reajuste de 2,40% em janeiro de 2026, conforme legislação vigente;
Compromisso de recomposição da inflação na data-base de maio de 2026.
