Master: adiamentos estariam ligados a avanço de investigação
A decisão da Polícia Federal (PF) de suspender novos depoimentos de ex-sócios do Banco Master, incluindo o CEO da instituição, Daniel Vorcaro, no fim de janeiro, pode ter relação direta com o relatório entregue nesta semana pela PF ao presidente do Supremo Tribunal Federal, Edson Fachin. Naquele momento, o relatório que trata de uma possível ligação entre o então relator do caso do Master no STF, ministro Dias Toffoli, e Vorcaro já estava em elaboração e com evidências de contatos formais entre ambos. Foi quando as defesas dos investigados comunicaram à Polícia Federal que seus clientes permaneceriam em silêncio em eventual novo depoimento pelo fato de não terem tido acesso a todas as provas e documentos.
A decisão ocorreu duas semanas após a segunda fase da operação Compliance Zero, quando a PF já havia acessado dados extraídos dos aparelhos eletrônicos apreendidos naquela e na primeira fase da operação, em novembro de 2025, e identificado indícios de contatos entre o empresário e o ministro. Segundo fontes ligadas às investigações, havia a expectativa de que os investigadores questionassem possíveis conexões com autoridades, o que teria contribuído para a estratégia de silêncio adotada pelas defesas, levando à suspensão das oitivas por parte da PF.
A deflagração da segunda etapa da investigação, no dia 14 de janeiro, voltou a ter como alvo o empresário Daniel Vorcaro e pessoas de seu entorno. Quando convocados aos depoimentos, que ocorreriam nos dias 27 e 28 de janeiro, as defesas informaram previamente que seus clientes exerceriam o direito constitucional de permanecer em silêncio, alegando não terem tido acesso integral ao conteúdo das apurações, especialmente aos dados extraídos de celulares e documentos apreendidos.

Já na segunda etapa, realizada em janeiro, os investigadores recolheram quase 40 aparelhos eletrônicos, dos quais cinco seriam atribuídos ao próprio empresário.
O volume de provas teria ampliado de forma significativa o escopo da investigação, permitindo a extração de novos dados considerados estratégicos para o avanço do inquérito e o aparecimento de nomes influentes na cena política, econômica e jurídica em Brasília.
Na época, os advogados sustentaram que a falta de acesso completo às provas inviabilizaria o exercício pleno do direito de defesa, já com indícios claros de que nomes influentes teriam aparecido nas investigações. Com isso, a corporação decidiu reavaliar a necessidade de redesignar os depoimentos antes da conclusão do inquérito, o que deve ocorrer até meados de março.
A única oitiva mantida no fim de janeiro foi a do ex-diretor de compliance do Banco Master Luiz Antônio Bull, que prestou esclarecimentos no dia 27 do mês passado por cerca de uma hora. O teor de seu depoimento permanece sob sigilo.
A rodada de interrogatórios tinha como foco aprofundar a apuração sobre supostas irregularidades na venda do Master ao BRB - negócio que está no centro das investigações -, e as ligações políticas e jurídicas de Vorcaro que poderiam lhe proporcionar blindagem em processos e investigações.
Nos bastidores, investigadores da PF avaliam que o cancelamento dos depoimentos pode ter sido influenciado também pelo avanço das análises técnicas realizadas após a segunda fase da operação. As extrações de dados dos aparelhos apreendidos, especialmente dos cinco celulares atribuídos a Vorcaro, teriam revelado conexões antes negadas por Vorcaro, no depoimento de 30 de dezembro, e ampliado a teia investigatória. Parte desse material ainda estaria sendo submetida a cruzamentos de dados que envolvem interlocuções sensíveis, o que teria elevado o grau de complexidade do caso.
Nesta semana, no entanto, Daniel Vorcaro manifestou ao Senado que está disposto a comparecer à Comissão de Assuntos Econômicos (CAE), no dia 24 de fevereiro, para prestar esclarecimentos públicos sobre o caso envolvendo o Master. Um novo depoimento à PF ainda não foi agendado. Vorcaro está em prisão domiciliar com uso de tornozeleira eletrônica desde o fim de novembro.
