Com os dizeres "Criança no Carnaval; pureza e alegria", a manifestação ocorre após a aprovação em 1° turno do Projeto de Lei 11/2025 que restringe a presença de menores em eventos carnavalescos.
O estandarte é portado por Paula Lucchesi, que leva o filho João Gabriel, de 14 anos, para o Carnaval desde quando ele ainda era criança. "O Carnaval é uma festa democrática então é pra todo mundo. É muito importante respeitar as leis e proteger as crianças de abusos e exploração sexual, mas a festa é pra todos", afirma Paula.
Declaradamente contrário ao PL que tramita na Câmara Municipal, João Gabriel ressalta que os blocos sempre foram sinônimo de alegria ao lado da mãe. "Acho que antes de tudo é um momento de desestresse, mas também representa união e diversão em família", diz.
