Escola de samba cancela desfile em BH após acidente que terminou com morte de motociclista
"Nada se compara com as vidas que foram perdidas. Mas nós da MIP sentimos muito em ver todo o nosso trabalho perdido. Foram muitos dias até 2h vendo várias coisas dando errado e dando a volta por cima e hoje seria a idealização de um lindo enredo", diz a nota da escola de samba.
O acidente que provocou o cancelamento do desfile ocorreu por volta das 6h da manhã desta segunda-feira, no bairro São Luiz, na Região da Pampulha. Um casal em uma moto morreu após se chocar com um cabo de aço que retirava um dos carros alegóricos da escola para levá-lo à região do desfile.
"É com muita tristeza que voltamos com as fantasias para a sede, sem ter desfilado. Mas assim como nossa águia, voaremos alto e ano que voltaremos mais fortes", destaca.

Conforme as primeiras informações, um reboque retirava um carro alegórico de um lote para levá-lo ao centro da cidade. A via chegou a ser interditada para a remoção do veículo, mas o motociclista teria ignorado os cones de sinalização e tentou ultrapassar o reboque por um pequeno espaço entre o caminhão e a calçada.
Durante a tentativa de ultrapassagem em alta velocidade, o condutor não percebeu a existência de um cabo de aço preso ao carro alegórico. Com o impacto, o casal foi arremessado e teve o óbito constatado no local.
