"A Acadêmicos de Niterói começa essa mensagem agradecendo, de coração aberto, à sua comunidade. O que vivemos na Avenida só foi possível graças à força do povo, à união dos nossos componentes e ao amor de quem nunca deixou essa escola caminhar sozinha.
Mas é preciso dizer a verdade.
Durante todo o processo carnavalesco, a nossa agremiação foi perseguida. Sofremos ataques políticos, enfrentamos setores conservadores e, de forma ainda mais grave, lidamos com perseguições vindas de gestores do próprio Carnaval Carioca. Houve tentativas de interferência direta na nossa autonomia artística, com pedidos de mudança de enredo, questionamentos sobre a letra do samba e outras ações que buscaram nos enquadrar e nos silenciar.
Não conseguiram.
Mesmo pressionada, a Acadêmicos de Niterói não se curvou. Nos posicionamos, resistimos e levamos para a Avenida um desfile verdadeiro, potente e coerente com a nossa identidade.
A força da nossa comunidade foi o nosso pilar. A aclamação popular foi a nossa resposta. O carinho do público foi o nosso maior prêmio.
Também não ignoramos o histórico conhecido no Carnaval: a narrativa injusta de que "quem sobe, desce". Por isso, reafirmamos com firmeza que esperamos um julgamento justo, técnico e transparente, que respeite o que foi apresentado na Avenida e não reproduza perseguições, interesses ou pré-julgamentos.
A nossa mensagem ecoa clara, forte e sem medo:
