Polícia apreende 23 kg de maconha em veículo na zona sul de Manaus

Cerca de 23 quilos de maconha foram apreendidos na noite de terça-feira (17), no bairro Petrópolis, zona sul de Manaus. O entorpecente foi localizado em um veículo estacionado em um terreno na rua Fragata, após denúncias anônimas alertarem sobre o armazenamento de uma carga ilícita na localidade.
Uma equipe da 3ª Companhia Interativa Comunitária (Cicom), chegou ao local exato, após a denúncia informar sobre um forte odor vindo do automóvel, o que facilitou a localização do material, que estava escondido próximo a uma residência.
De acordo com a PM, a região onde ocorreu o flagrante possui histórico recorrente de crimes ligados ao tráfico de drogas. A apreensão faz parte das estratégias de policiamento ostensivo para desarticular pontos de distribuição de substâncias entorpecentes em áreas mapeadas pela inteligência.
Todo o material recolhido foi transportado e apresentado na delegacia. Agora a Polícia Civil do Amazonas prosseguirá com as investigações.
