A pequena foi levada ao hospital após ser resgatada por moradores. Devido ao quadro de desidratação da bebê, a soldado Helem, que atuava na ocorrência e teve uma filha há nove meses, foi autorizada a amamentar a recém-nascida. "Foi extremamente comovente, não tem como não se emocionar. Além do lado de policial, tem o lado materno. Eu não poderia ser indiferente diante disso, ela estava com muita fome, apática", contou a militar.
