Tentativa de feminicídio em Tefé: ex ataca mulher e foge

Uma tentativa de feminicídio chocou a cidade de Tefé, no Amazonas, neste sábado (7), quando uma mulher foi atacada a golpes de arma branca. O principal suspeito é o ex-companheiro dela, Gelson Mendes de Araújo, que está foragido.
O homem apontado pela Polícia Civil do Amazonas como autor dos golpes de arma branca é Gelson Mendes de Araújo. O crime aconteceu pela manhã, por volta das 6h, no bairro Jerusalém. Segundo informações da Delegacia Especializada de Polícia (DEP) do município, além da mulher, o suspeito também tentou matar o atual companheiro dela.
As investigações preliminares apontam que o crime foi motivado por ciúmes e inconformismo com o término do relacionamento. Os fatos estão sendo apurados, em tese, como tentativa de feminicídio contra a mulher e tentativa de homicídio qualificado por motivo torpe contra o homem", detalhou o delegado Micael Souza.
A mulher foi encaminhada para o hospital regional, assim como o companheiro dela que permanece internado em estado grave. A polícia foi acionada e segue em campo para localizar o suspeito, que está foragido. A Polícia Civil solicita que qualquer informação sobre o paradeiro de Gelson Mendes de Araújo seja repassada pelos números (97) 98432-3673, da DEP de Tefé; 197 e (92) 3667-7575, da PC-AM; ou 181, da Secretaria de Segurança Pública do Amazonas (SSP-AM). A identidade do denunciante será preservada.
