MP reabre investigação contra Carlos Bolsonaro por 'rachadinhas'
O caso havia sido arquivado em 2014 pelo próprio órgão e foi reaberto após a Procuradoria-Geral de Justiça considerar o "arquivamento prematuro". As informações foram divulgadas inicialmente pelo GloboNews e foi confirmada pelo iG.
De acordo com a nota do MPRJ enviado ao iG, o processo foi continuado no dia 9 de fevereiro de 2026.
O ex-vereador do Rio de Janeiro passou a ser investigado após a Promotoria de Justiça de Investigação Penal Especializada da Capital, do MPRJ, oferecer denúncia em setembro de 2024, contra sete pessoas, entre elas funcionários e ex-funcionários da Câmara Municipal do Rio de Janeiro.
A acusação envolvia um esquema de corrupção, conhecido como "rachadinha", usando funcionários fantasmas, prática na qual parte dos salários dos assessores é desviada para o líder do esquema.
Segundo o ministério, Jorge Luiz Fernandes, que exercia o cargo de chefe de gabinete do vereador, com apoio de outros seis denunciados, teria criado a "rachadinha", que arrecadou R$ 1,7 milhão no período.
Ainda em nota, o ministério informou que a reabertura da investigação também considerou a ausência de prerrogativa de foro privilegiado de Carlos Bolsonaro. A investigação passa a ser conduzida pela 4ª Promotoria de Justiça de Investigação Penal Especializada do Núcleo Rio de Janeiro para a realização de diligências complementares.
