As fortes chuvas que atingem a Zona da Mata mineira provocaram interdições e restrições em rodovias estaduais nas regiões de Juiz de Fora e Ubá. O Departamento de Estradas de Rodagem de Minas Gerais (DER-MG) informou nesta terça-feira (24) que atua em regime de plantão diante das ocorrências.
Em Ubá, a MGC-120, no km 689, no trecho entre Ubá e Guidoval, está totalmente interditada. Segundo o DER-MG, o volume das águas danificou o encabeçamento da ponte no local.
Já em Juiz de Fora, a LMG-870, no trecho que liga o entroncamento da BR-267, próximo ao distrito de Orvalho, até Santa Bárbara do Monte Verde, opera em meia pista devido à erosão. O órgão sugere que o tráfego seja feito apenas por veículos leves.
Também na região, a LMG-874, em Matias Barbosa, no sentido Juiz de Fora, está com a rodovia submersa, o que impede o tráfego em qualquer sentido. O trânsito está temporariamente interrompido, e a liberação dependerá da redução do nível do rio e da verificação de possíveis danos na estrutura.
As interdições ocorrem no mesmo contexto das chuvas que deixaram mortos, desaparecidos e centenas de desabrigados na Zona da Mata, afetando áreas urbanas e a malha viária regional.

Em coletiva realizada nesta terça-feira (24), o vice-governador Mateus Simões afirmou que as ruas do município estão intransitáveis. "Vamos mandar maquinário, pás e carregadeiras para apoiar as prefeituras", disse.
