A Agência Pernambucana de Águas e Clima (Apac) renovou o alerta de "Estado de Observação" para a ocorrência de chuvas em todo o território pernambucano. A instabilidade é provocada pela atuação de um Vórtice Ciclônico de Altos Níveis (VCAN), associado à alta umidade presente na atmosfera.
De acordo com a Apac, o sistema favorece a continuidade de pancadas de chuva de intensidade moderada, com possibilidade de registros pontualmente fortes, em todas as regiões do estado.
Na Zona da Mata Norte e Sul e na Região Metropolitana do Recife, as chuvas devem ocorrer principalmente durante a madrugada e o período da manhã. Já no Agreste e no Sertão, as pancadas são mais prováveis ao longo da tarde, com maior intensidade no Agreste, e durante a noite, especialmente no Sertão.
A Apac segue monitorando as condições meteorológicas e recomenda atenção da população, sobretudo em áreas de risco.
