O bicheiro Adilson Oliveira Coutinho Filho, conhecido como Adilsinho, foi preso na manhã desta quinta-feira, 26, em uma mansão localizada em Cabo Frio, na Região dos Lagos do Rio de Janeiro. Foragido por mais de duas décadas, o contraventor era alvo de cinco mandados de prisão – quatro por homicídio e um por organização criminosa. Em uma operação que contou com a ação integrada da Polícia Civil e Federal, Adilsinho foi capturado depois de ser monitorado por cerca de dois meses.
Segundo a polícia, a estratégia usada para não ser achado era uma estadia de curto prazo em casas alugadas em diferentes regiões do Rio de Janeiro e até mesmo do Brasil. Adilsinho também costumava viajar para cidades que fazem fronteira com outros países da América do Sul. Com isso, ele conseguia não só fugir das autoridades, mas também expandir seu negócio de venda de cigarros falsificados.
De acordo com as investigações, policiais integravam a equipe de segurança do bicheiro. Durante a operação, um PM que estava na hospedagem de Adilsinho em Cabo Frio também foi preso. A ação contou com a atuação da Força Integrada de Combate ao Crime Organizado (FICCO/RJ) e com o apoio do Serviço Aeropolicial.
Esta foi a terceira tentativa de prisão do contraventor. Além da exploração do jogo ilegal e do contrabando de cigarros, a polícia já havia desarticulado três fábricas clandestinas ligadas a ele, onde mais de 20 paraguaios foram encontrados trabalhando em condições análogas a escravidão na Baixada Fluminense.
Integrante da cúpula do jogo do bicho no Rio de Janeiro, o criminoso é considerado o maior produtor e distribuidor de cigarros falsificados do estado, atividade ligada a organizações armadas e com atuação transnacional, marcada pela imposição de violência e domínio territorial. Adilsinho foi encaminhado à Superintendência Regional da Polícia Federal no Rio de Janeiro e, posteriormente, será transferido ao sistema prisional do estado.
