STF forma maioria para manter prisão de Daniel Vorcaro, do banco Master

O ministro André Mendonça, que é relator do caso no STF, foi o primeiro a votar se posicionou a favor da manutenção da prisão. Segundo o magistrado, o banqueiro faz parte de uma "perigosa organização criminosa armada". Os ministros Luiz Fux e Nunes Marques acompanharam o relator e também defenderam manter Vorcaro preso, formando maioria na Segunda Turma. O ministro Gilmar Mendes ainda precisa votar. O julgamento ocorreu no plenário virtual e vai até a próxima sexta-feira (20).
O ministro Dias Toffoli também integra a Segunda Turma, mas não vai votar porque se declarou suspeito, por foro íntimo, de participar de julgamentos do caso Master. Essa é a primeira decisão colegiada sobre o caso Master. Antes, a investigação teve apenas decisões individuais dos magistrados.
Além de Vorcaro, a decisão do STF também define que devem permanecer presos o cunhado de Vorcaro, Fabiano Campos Zettel e Marilson Roseno da Silva.
