Bolsonaro foi internado na manhã desta sexta-feira (13) após apresentar febre alta, sudorese, calafrios e queda na saturação de oxigênio. Ele foi levado ao hospital por uma ambulância do Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (Samu).
Exames realizados após a admissão hospitalar confirmaram broncopneumonia bacteriana bilateral de provável origem aspirativa.

O ex-presidente está custodiado na sala de Estado-Maior localizada no prédio conhecido como Papudinha, dentro do Complexo Penitenciário da Papuda, em Brasília. Ele cumpre pena de 27 anos e três meses de prisão por tentativa de golpe de Estado e outros crimes relacionados.
