Uma rápida e intensa chuva causou alagamentos em Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, no Sul do Espírito Santo, na tarde deste sábado (14). Segundo a Defesa Civil, ruas dos bairros Santo Antônio e Nova Brasília foram afetadas após o transbordamento de bueiros que não suportaram o volume de água. Um vídeo feito por moradores (veja acima) mostra comércio e veículos que estavam estacionados na Avenida Jones dos Santos Neves atingidos pela cheia na via.
No bairro Vila Rica, além de ruas alagadas, uma escada caiu. Uma das moradoras, a dona de casa Vanessa Reis, contou que a chuva foi muito rápida e pegou todos de surpresa. "A gente ficou muito assustada. Aqui parecia um rio e a minha garagem chegou a inundar. Graças a Deus, dessa vez não perdemos móveis, mas da outra vez perdemos várias coisas. Toda vez que chove, a gente fica com o coração na mão", relatou.
Já no bairro Guandu, parte do teto de uma loja de calçados caiu após o temporal. O órgão municipal e os Bombeiros foram ao local. Ainda conforme a Defesa Civil, também foram registradas quedas de árvores em alguns pontos do município, mas sem prejuízos. Após a água escoar, equipes da prefeitura foram acionadas para limpar as ruas.
