Caso Master: Toffoli admite ser sócio de resort, mas nega ter recebido dinheiro de Vorcaro – Money Times
O ministro Dias Toffoli, do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), negou nesta quinta-feira (12) ter recebido qualquer valor do banqueiro Daniel Vorcaro, dono do Banco Master, ou de seu cunhado, Fabiano Zettel. A informação foi divulgada em nota oficial pelo gabinete do magistrado.
Segundo o comunicado, Toffoli afirma que "jamais teve qualquer relação de amizade, e muito menos íntima, com o investigado Daniel Vorcaro".
O posicionamento do ministro ocorre um dia após a divulgação de que o diretor-geral da Polícia Federal, Andrei Rodrigues, encaminhou ao presidente do STF, Edson Fachin, um relatório apontando menções a Toffoli no celular de Vorcaro, alvo de investigação policial. Embora a PF não tenha solicitado a suspeição do ministro, o relatório indicaria fatos que poderiam motivá-la.
A nota de Toffoli também esclarece sua relação com a empresa Maridt, que vendeu participação no resort Tayayá, no interior do Paraná, para um fundo ligado ao cunhado de Vorcaro.
O ministro informou que todos os valores recebidos foram declarados à Receita Federal e que nunca manteve relações diretas com Vorcaro ou Zettel. A Maridt, empresa familiar da qual Toffoli é sócio, foi administrada por parentes do ministro e integrou o grupo Tayayá até fevereiro de 2025.
Segundo a nota, a venda da participação ocorreu em duas etapas: metade das cotas foi vendida ao fundo Arleen em setembro de 2021 e o saldo remanescente à PHD Holding em fevereiro de 2025. Toffoli destacou que as transações respeitaram o valor de mercado e que ele não exerceu funções de gestão na empresa, o que, conforme a Lei Orgânica da Magistratura, é permitido a magistrados.
O caso Master chegou ao STF após a defesa de Vorcaro argumentar que documentos apreendidos durante a investigação mencionavam um deputado federal, tornando a Corte competente para julgar o processo. Toffoli foi sorteado como relator e determinou que todos os inquéritos relacionados ao banco fossem enviados ao seu gabinete.
Parlamentares da oposição questionaram a condução do processo e a eventual parcialidade do ministro, apontando viagens de Toffoli à final da Copa Libertadores em Lima, no Peru, na companhia de um advogado ligado a executivos do Master, além da venda das ações do resort por seus irmãos para fundo vinculado ao cunhado de Vorcaro.
O diretor-geral da PF afirmou que as investigações sobre transações financeiras suspeitas entre Master e BRB devem ser concluídas até 16 de março, conforme prazo estipulado por Toffoli. Rodrigues disse que o relatório final seguirá todos os achados da investigação, sem descartar nenhuma hipótese, e que elementos paralelos não serão ignorados, mas também não poluirão o foco principal do inquérito.
A defesa de Vorcaro, por sua vez, criticou o vazamento de informações e afirmou que a exposição seletiva de dados pode gerar constrangimentos, favorecer ilações e comprometer o direito de defesa, reforçando a necessidade de apuração técnica e imparcial.
