O crime teria acontecido em uma noite de junho, na residência do advogado, onde ocorriam reuniões de marketing e estratégia política do PL. A vítima narra que, após sair do banho apenas de toalha, Wassef a teria forçado a entrar em um quarto.

A mulher descreve que precisou reagir fisicamente para interromper a investida. "Falei gritando pra ele parar se não eu iria fazer escândalo, gritar", afirmou. Segundo o relato, ela conseguiu escapar para a sala, onde outra pessoa da equipe de campanha estava presente, e fugiu do local em seu carro.
Pedidos de medidas protetivas
A defesa da denunciante solicitou ao Ministério Público uma série de medidas cautelares e de investigação. Entre os pedidos estão o distanciamento mínimo de 200 metros entre Wassef e a vítima, além da proibição de qualquer contato, inclusive por meios eletrônicos ou intermediários.
