Rodovia do Sol vira mão única com novo sistema viário em Vila Velha

Um novo sistema binário de trânsito envolvendo a Rodovia do Sol e a Avenida Saturnino Rangel Mauro, em Vila Velha, no Espírito Santo começa a funcionar a partir das 5 horas da manhã desta segunda-feira (16). O tráfego de veículos mudará para mão única.
Com a alteração, a Avenida Saturnino Rangel Mauro terá fluxo no sentido Guarapari. Na Rodovia do Sol, veículos somente poderão trafegar no sentido da Terceira Ponte.
Também na segunda-feira terão início as obras de adequação da Rodovia do Sol para a implantação do novo modelo de circulação. A principal intervenção será a retirada do canteiro central para permitir a ampliação da pista. Os serviços serão realizados durante o dia por causa do barulho das máquinas.
Os trabalhos começam nas proximidades do antigo Hospital Santa Mônica e avançam em direção ao Boulevard Shopping. Conforme a obra for avançando, as faixas próximas ao canteiro central serão bloqueadas gradualmente por trechos.
Durante a retirada do canteiro central, a Rodovia do Sol continuará funcionando com duas faixas de rolamento. Após a conclusão desta etapa e das demais intervenções, a via passará a contar com quatro faixas no sentido da Terceira Ponte.
Mesmo durante as obras, o trânsito local de moradores e comerciantes continuará liberado pela Rodovia do Sol no sentido Guarapari. Agentes de trânsito estarão na região para orientar motoristas, e o local contará com sinalização. Com as mudanças, motoristas devem redobrar a atenção ao trafegar pela área. Como alternativa, também é possível utilizar as vias da orla de Itaparica.
Para quem sai do bairro Jockey de Itaparica pela Rua Dylio Penedo, a orientação é acessar a Rua Coronel Otto Filho para chegar à orla. Já os motoristas que seguem até o final da Avenida Saturnino Rangel Mauro deverão acessar a Rodovia do Sol pela Avenida Dylio Penedo, fazendo a conversão à esquerda.
