Furto de fios paralisa serviços da Associação dos Deficientes de Linhares
O atendimento da Associação de Deficientes de Linhares (Adefil), no Norte do Espírito Santo, está paralisado devido ao furto de fios do padrão de energia. Segundo Rafael Simonelli, vice-presidente da instituição o crime ocorreu na sexta-feira (13). Ele afirma que o prejuízo financeiro é de R$ 1 mil, mas reforça que o dano é maior por interromper as atividades às pessoas com deficiência. "Nós fazemos de 20 a 30 atendimentos por dia. São indivíduos que precisam dos serviços especiais", afirma.
A instituição atua sem fins econômicos e o vice-presidente pede ajuda de voluntários para solucionar o problema. "Não temos verba e contamos com doações", explicou Simonelli. Ele disse ainda que vai registrar o caso na polícia nesta segunda-feira (16).
A Adefil oferece atividades esportivas gratuitas para pessoas com cadeiras de rodas, além de promover ações sociais, como a distribuição de alimentos para famílias cadastradas na instituição.
