Setor de serviços tem queda em dezembro, mas fecha 2025 em alta de 2,8%
Em dezembro, o volume de serviços no Brasil caiu 0,4% frente a novembro, interrompendo uma sequência de nove resultados positivos e uma estabilidade, informou nesta quinta-feira, 12, o IBGE.
Mesmo com a interrupção da série de altas, o setor fechou no azul pelo quinto ano seguido, cravando uma alta de 2,8% em 2025, com taxas positivas em 53,6% dos 166 tipos de serviços investigados.

O setor de serviços é que possui o maior peso no PIB (Produto Interno Bruto) e encerrou o ano 0,4% abaixo do auge da série histórica, alcançado em novembro de 2025.
A indústria, por exemplo, cresceu 0,6% em 2025, bem abaixo da alta de 3,1% registrada em 2024. Já o resultado do comércio será divulgado nesta sexta-feira.
Para Rodrigo Lobo, gerente da pesquisa, o resultado de dezembro foi amplamente influenciado pelo recuo no setor de transportes, que mostrou taxas negativas em todos os modais investigados: terrestre (-1,7%); aquaviário (-1,4%); aéreo (-5,5%); e armazenagem, serviços auxiliares dos transportes e correio (-4,9%). "O cenário de perdas do setor também se refletiu sob a perspectiva dos transportes por tipo de uso, com recuos de 3,9% no transporte de passageiros e de 1,6% no transporte de cargas, em relação a novembro de 2025", destacou.
