Presidente estadual do PP, o deputado federal Eduardo da Fonte considerou como decisão precipitada da governadora Raquel Lyra (PSD) exonerar os indicados por seu partido para comandar o Ceasa, a Lafepe e Porto do Recife, nesta terça-feira (17). Ao Blog Dantas Barreto, ele garantiu não ter qualquer acordo fechado com o pré-candidato a governador pelo PSB, João Campos. Além do mais, disse que as exonerações foram na mesma data que o TSE marcou para o dia 26 a homologação da Federação União Progressista.
Questionado sobre a decisão de Raquel, Eduardo respondeu: "O que posso fazer? Todo mundo está conversando com todo mundo. Não tem acordo com João Campos. Mas, coincidentemente, a governadora exonerou o pessoal no dia que o TSE marcou a data para homologar a federação. Estou nesse processo há seis eleições e ninguém vai me pautar sobre o que vou fazer".
O deputado enfatizou que só falará sobre alianças na condição de presidente da Federação União Progressista. "Não vou mais falar em nome do PP e também não poderia me antecipar sem a federação existir. Como federação, discutiremos sobre o maior tempo de televisão e maior Fundo Eleitoral", afirmou.
Por conta disso, Eduardo da Fonte garante que não tem porta fechada para ninguém. "Tudo fica do jeito que está. Quanto à candidatura ao Senado também vou discutir depois que a federação estiver homologada. Não serei candidato de mim mesmo", ressaltou. "Até hoje de manhã colocavam em dúvida se a federação iria existir", completou.
Além dele, a Federação União Progressista tem o presidente do União Brasil, Miguel Coelho, como pré-candidato a senador, que já recebeu convite de Raquel Lyra para se integrar à aliança governista.
