Por Felipe Pontes - O ministro Flávio Dino, do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), deu prazo de cinco dias para que o Senado e o senador Carlos Viana (Podemos-MG) respondam à acusação de irregularidades no repasse de R$ 3,6 milhões em emendas a uma fundação ligada à Igreja Batista da Lagoinha, sediada em Belo Horizonte.
A decisão foi motivada por uma representação dos deputados Pastor Henrique Vieira (Psol-RJ) e Rogério Correia (PT-MG), que acusaram Viana de barrar a investigação da Lagoinha na condição de presidente da Comissão Parlamentar de Inquérito (CPI) sobre as fraudes em benefícios do Instituto Nacional do Seguro Social (INSS).

De acordo com as informações apresentadas a Dino, Viana teria destinado três repasses à Fundação Oasis, braço social da Igreja Batista da Lagoinha, liderada pelo pastor André Valadão:
- R$ 1,5 milhão (2019): emenda Pix à Prefeitura de Belo Horizonte com destino carimbado à Fundação Oasis;- R$ 1,47 milhão (2023): repasse à Fundação Oasis de Capim Branco (região metropolitana de BH);- R$ 650,9 mil (2025): novo repasse à filial de Capim Branco.
A destinação de R$ 3,6 milhões à Fundação Oasis ao longo de três exercícios, por parlamentar que mantém relação de financiamento habitual com a entidade beneficiária e que, na posição de presidente de comissão investigativa, atua para protegê-la de investigações, escreveram os senadores que acionaram Dino.
A Igreja da Lagoinha está envolvida nas discussões da CPI do INSS no contexto de possíveis fraudes em empréstimos consignados do Banco Master, de Daniel Vorcaro, sobre benefícios do INSS.
