RJ: em 5 dias, Justiça concede 1.700 sentenças por violência à mulher

Por Douglas Corrêa - O Tribunal de Justiça do Rio (TJRJ), por meio do Núcleo de Promoção de Políticas Especiais de Enfrentamento à Violência Doméstica e Familiar (Nupevid), divulgou nessa sexta-feira(20)dados referentes à32ª edição da Semana da Justiça pela Paz em Casa, entre os dias 9 e 13 de março.
Nesse período, entre audiências, sentenças e medidas protetivas, foram realizados 4.491 atendimentos. O maior número diz respeito às 1.760 sentenças de violência contra a mulher no ambiente doméstico. Além disso, foram concedidas 1.163 decisões de medidas protetivas de urgência amulheres que vinham sofrendo ameaças dentro de casa.
De acordo com dados do Observatório Judicial de Violência Contra a Mulher, o Tribunal de Justiça realizou 3.808 audiências relacionadas ao tema apenas nos meses iniciais de 2026.
Justiça pela Paz em CasaA Semana da Justiça pela Paz em Casa foi estabelecida pelo Conselho Nacional de Justiça em 2015 e tem o objetivo de ampliar a efetividade da Lei Maria da Penha e concentrar esforços para agilizar o andamento dos processos relacionados à violência de gênero.
