Os novos valores foram informados pela Agência Nacional de Transportes Terrestres (ANTT). Segundo o órgão, o novo valor leva em conta o chamado Índice de Reajustamento Tarifário (IRT) – indicador econômico utilizado para atualizar os valores das tarifas de serviços públicos concedidos.
Além disso, a ANTT destacou que as alterações tarifárias seguem "critérios técnicos e contratuais, com o objetivo de garantir a continuidade dos serviços, a realização dos investimentos previstos e a melhoria das condições de trafegabilidade e segurança".
De acordo com a ANTT, a "recomposição" foi estabelecida em um Termo de Autocomposição entre a União e a nova concessionária, com aval do Tribunal de Contas da União (TCU). O modelo prevê degraus tarifários progressivos, que serão aplicados conforme o cumprimento das obrigações do Programa de Exploração da Rodovia (PER).
O último reajuste nos pedágios da Fernão Dias ocorreu em dezembro de 2025, quando a tarifa passou de R$ 3 para R$ 3,20, ainda sob a gestão anterior. Na ocasião, a ANTT autorizou o reajuste anual ordinário para todo o trecho, entre Contagem (MG) e Guarulhos (SP).
Onde o novo valor será cobrado?
A tarifa de R$ 3,60 será aplicada nas oito praças de pedágio da estrada. Em Minas, os postos de cobrança estão localizados em Itatiaiuçu, Carmópolis de Minas, Santo Antônio do Amparo, Carmo da Cachoeira, São Gonçalo do Sapucaí e Cambuí. No estado de São Paulo, o reajuste será aplicado nas cabines de Vargem e Mairiporã.
A evasão de pedágio é infração grave. Conforme o Código de Trânsito Brasileiro (CTB), as penalidades que incluem aplicação de 5 pontos na Carteira Nacional de Habilitação (CNH) e multa de R$ 195,23.
Investimento de R$ 15 bilhões
A transferência para a Motiva, vencedora do leilão realizado em dezembro de 2025, projeta investimentos em uma das rodovias mais movimentadas do país. Ao todo, estão previstos quase R$ 15 bilhões em aportes, sendo R$ 9,4 bilhões destinados a melhorias estruturais e ampliações na via e R$ 5,3 bilhões para custos operacionais nos próximos 15 anos.
Em Contagem, na Grande BH, cerca de R$ 300 milhões serão investidos para eliminar gargalos históricos, segundo prevê o contrato. O cronograma inclui a ampliação dos viadutos da Hípica e Colúmbia, além da construção de duas trincheiras, uma na avenida Firmo de Mattos e outra no bairro Bandeirantes.
