A Receita informou que tanto pessoas físicas quanto jurídicas foram notificadas por meio da Caixa Postal disponível no portal e-CAC ou no aplicativo oficial do órgão, com instruções para regularizar a situação. O órgão também reforça que mensagens enviadas por outros canais — especialmente aquelas com links, pedidos de pagamento ou solicitação de dados pessoais — podem ser tentativas de fraude.
Depois de corrigidas as pendências, o sistema permitirá uma nova tentativa de pagamento nos próximos lotes, que são realizados mensalmente.
Como acessar a Caixa Postal
O contribuinte pode acessar a Caixa Postal pelo Centro Virtual de Atendimento (e-CAC). Para isso, basta entrar no portal, fazer login com a conta gov.br e, no menu de serviços, selecionar a opção "Caixa Postal", localizada na área de comunicação.
Também é possível consultar as mensagens pelo aplicativo oficial da Receita Federal em dispositivos móveis. Após o login com a conta gov.br, o usuário deve acessar a área de mensagens para verificar eventuais comunicados.
A Receita Federal recomenda acompanhar a Caixa Postal com frequência, pois esse canal é utilizado para informar sobre pendências, restituições não pagas, necessidade de atualização cadastral e outras situações que exigem ação do contribuinte.
