No entendimento da Procuradoria, a prisão da ex-parlamentar e o avanço do processo de extradição reduziram qualquer possibilidade de interferência nos processos brasileiros.

A Justiça italiana deve decidir até a próxima quarta-feira (18) sobre o pedido de extradição apresentado pelo Brasil. Zambelli está presa desde julho de 2025 na penitenciária feminina de Rebibbia, em Roma. O tribunal pode autorizar a extradição, negá-la ou solicitar novos documentos antes de anunciar a decisão final.
