A Mesa Diretora da Assembleia Legislativa do Estado do Amazonas (ALE-AM) colocou no sistema o projeto de lei para definir as regras da eleição indireta que elegerá o governador e vice-governador para um mandato-tampão até o dia 5 de janeiro de 2027. O texto foi protocolado no Sistema de Apoio ao Processo Legislativo (SAPL) nesta quinta-feira (9).
Segundo a proposta, a eleição indireta será realizada em uma reunião extraordinária "por meio de votação nominal e aberta". Ou seja, os deputados estaduais deverão declarar abertamente em quem votarão para o mandato tampão.
O projeto também prevê que poderão concorrer aos cargos de governador e vice-governador, em chapa única, os brasileiros que "satisfaçam todas as condições de elegibilidade exigidas na Constituição Federal para os cargos em disputa", além de não estarem inelegíveis de acordo com a legislação.
"A Mesa Diretora da Assembleia Legislativa publicará edital fixando o calendário da eleição indireta, com discriminação dos prazos e das regras para a prática dos atos relativos ao requerimento, impugnação e julgamento dos registros de candidaturas, e contendo a convocação para a reunião extraordinária", diz o projeto.
