Porque a separação ocorre

Na sequência do desprendimento e reentrada, os paraquedas são ativados e a tripulação é resgatada por equipes da agência norte-americana.
Missão histórica
Lançada em 1º de abril a partir de Cabo Canaveral com o foguete Space Launch System, a missão retorna à Terra depois de contornar o lado oculto da Lua.
Os astronautas Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch e Jeremy Hansen alcançaram a maior distância da Terra já registrada por humanos.
Eles fizeram parte do primeiro voo tripulado nas proximidades da Lua desde o programa Apollo, encerrado na década de 1970.
A missão também marcou avanços simbólicos: Glover é o primeiro astronauta negro em uma missão lunar; Koch foi a primeira mulher e Hansen, o primeiro não norte-americano a participar de uma operação desse tipo.
